“In Silicon Valley, we think independently … I was once a moderate Republican. I became an Independent out of a deep desire to move beyond partisanship and focus on solutions to meet California’s challenges.”
Record of Independence:
- Chad is endorsed by a wide range of local politicians on both sides of the aisle.
- With his experience as both an educator, and a college district trustee, Chad is intently focused on “building the best education system in the world,” with an eye to solving California’s pension crisis in order to preserve education funding for the future.
- Chad worked on the community college board to pass a balanced budget resolution, while at the same time aggressively promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and reducing textbook costs for students.
